Briefcase for laptops with magnets?

I was given a bag/leather briefcase made by fossil. I love it, it would be perfect to carry my laptop (MAC) around. Before i do that, i was wondering if the fact that the bag has magnets to close flaps, size of about a quarter, would cause any damage to the laptop? Anyone have any ideas?

I don't think so only a very powerful magnet can do damage to the hard drive but if you have floppy disk you should be careful because they can be easily destroyed by a magnet.
